The Magnolia Cream project is our latest stucco-wrapped Mississippi adventure. Paneling was added to the existing wainscoting in the dining room to elevate the space.
Next, the master bath was re-oriented to add a larger soaker tub and a more functional shower space. Additional lighting–four mirror-flanking sconces, an oversized drum light centered over the improved soaking tub, one updated flush mount in the revamped linen closet, and a fan-light combo piece in the freshly tiled shower, literally brighten the space.
The first round of renovations concluded with a home studio and office. A hand-painted chinoiserie mural adds a bit of whimsy to the ceiling, complete with a well-placed blooming light fixture. The oversized vintage desk takes up much of the real estate of the space, however its glass construction allows the space to breathe.
